Reiki I
Reiki 1 is the beginning of the journey into self-development and personal mastery. Self-healing is the crucial first step in becoming a Reiki channel. Only when you take responsibility for your healing are you in a position to support others in their healing process. Self-treatment leaves you feeling more relaxed, reducing stress and strengthening powers of resistance to illness. On a broader level, Reiki brings harmony and well-being into your life.

| History of Reiki: |
The origin of Usui Reiki Ryoho is discussed.

| Reiki Principles & Ethics: |
Principles and ethics are explained.
|
| The Chakra System: |
The energy system of the body is explored.
|
| Attunements: |
Four Reiki I attunements are given to ‘activate’ the universal life force energy.
|
| Hand Positions: |
Hand positions for healing self and others are demonstrated and practiced.
|
| Healing Symbol: |
Non-traditional symbol for Pure Love is given.
|
|
|
Competency Assessment
Learn the history, principles and ethics of Reiki.
Learn the hand positions for self treatment and treatment of others.
Keep a Reiki Journal to record reactions and sensations during self treatments and the treatment of others.
Prepare a short essay discussing one self-treatment and one client treatment.
Upon completion of the competency assessment you will receive your Reiki I Practitioner Certification.

Reiki II
The focus of Reiki II is mental and emotional cleansing together with healing those not physically present (distant healing). To achieve this, students are taught three symbols and mantras which amplify your intuition, knowledge and Reiki energy.
With two additional attunements passed during Reiki II, the vibrational frequency of the physical and etheric bodies is increased bringing any negative energy and past patterning to the surface to be released.

Competency Assessment
Learn the goals of Reiki II.
Learn the Reiki II symbols – practice drawing and using the symbols during a treatment.
Practice the Emotional Healing Program and keep a written log of your experience.
Practice Distance Healing with a willing participant and record the results.
Prepare a short essay discussing one self-treatment and one client treatment.
Reflect on your Reiki experience so far and document any changes that have occurred.
Upon completion of the training exercises you will receive your Reiki II Practitioner Certification. |

Reiki Master Teacher
|
This course provides all the information a student needs to become a reiki master including
|
- what it means to be a reiki master,
- the Master Symbol,
- spirituality,
- meditation techniques,
- sound therapy,
- colour therapy,
- crystal therapy,
- procedure for performing attunements at each level,
- legal issues,
- advertising,
- networking,
- sending reiki with the breath and the eyes
|

|
Students need to have already completed Reiki levels 1 and 2 before applying to become a Reiki Master. There also needs to be regular one on one contact with the Reiki Master Teacher. This is arranged by appointment.
